Company: Milberg Weiss
Problem: One of the largest and most successful law firms in the country, Milberg Weiss was in the process of re-designing and re-developing their widely used corporate intranet site, The MW Inside. Their website aesthetically did not reflect the professionalism of their firm. Also, approval for design and color scheme would be an issue because the members of the board who approve the site are not always readily available. They did not want waiting for design and color scheme approval to hinder the development of the site in any way.
Solution: Tri-Tec Solutions came in and worked extensively with the Milberg web development team to not only come up with a professional design for the site, but also developed a series of style sheets that controlled the color scheme of the website. In the end, we developed 6 different style sheets and we gave each individual user of the site the ability to choose the color scheme they wanted. Company: Mini Graphics
Problem: A print company that recently upgraded it's computer and server systems, they wanted a way to track how long print jobs where taking, which employee was working at which station as well as keeping track of inventory.
Solution: Tri-Tec Solutions aided in a complex Access Database application that used forms and macro development to come up with a solution. The end result of the database produced various reports that allowed administration to keep track of how long jobs where taking to print, employee productivity, department productivity and well as inventory reports.
Company: Disc Graphics
Problem: Another print company that used Excel Spreadsheets to keep track of time spent on time wasted to correct printing issues with machinery in each department.
Tri-Tec Solutions was brought in to see if there was a way to generate specific reports based on exsisting Excel spreadsheets.
Solution: The type of reporting Disc Graphics wanted was just not possible with Excel so Tri-Tec Solutions came in and developed an Access database application. The resulting application made data entry more efficient as well as more accurate and was able to query the data in such a way to produce all of the reports that were nessessary. Tri-Tec Solutions also developed macros to format the Excel data in such a way that they were able to import all of their exsisting data into their current database.
